Git Integrations Mapping Migration

Scheduled for May 17, 08:00 - 11:00 UTC

Scheduled

We are making performance improvements to our data ingestion framework, which will be rolled out gradually over the coming weeks. These enhancements involve decoupling the extraction and transformation layers.

In preparation for this rollout, we will be migrating Git integration mappings that use the `file://` syntax to the new `__includedFiles` format. This change allows us to separate the transformation layer of third-party data from the extraction process.

During this migration, we will automatically update old mappings to the new `__includedFiles` format so you can benefit from these performance enhancements immediately.

⚠️ Note: Manual changes to mappings may not be saved during this maintenance window. We recommend avoiding updates to your Git integrations at this time.

For more information and syntax examples, see the before/after mapping format here: https://docs.port.io/build-your-software-catalog/sync-data-to-catalog/git/github-ocean/migration-from-github-app/#repository-and-teams
